In my line of work, I’ve done a lot of research into cleansing, detoxification and purification of organs that cause sickness, disease and weight gain. Many people are unaware of the effects that food has on overall health and weight gain. If your body is accumulating excess fat there is a reason for it. If you want to remove that excess fat you need to do the opposite of what caused your body to accumulate it in the first place.
The problem is, you don’t know what caused your body to gain excess fat in the first place and you could literally spend years (as I have) learning about health, nutrition, assimilation, food reactions, hormones and so many other topics that would make your head spin to find out what diet is “perfect” for you because you will NEVER find the perfect diet in a book. A perfect diet is unique to your individuality, your gut, your genes, your hormones and multiple other factors. You could literally spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to scientifically find the “perfect” diet for you so that search will always come up empty if you are what I call “diet hopping” from one diet to the next.
Do the best you can, eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans. Eat organic whole foods more often and processed crap less. That’s the best you can do. What you can do is eat healthy, drink water, exercise and do your best to not get stressed as often. These will help you in your weight loss goals.
I like to think strategically though and eating healthy and exercising may help but if you want to get better results faster you will need to begin a cleansing (otherwise known as detoxification) protocol. What type of cleanse/detox should you do though? there’s everything from the cayenne lemon water one that stars do to not eating food at all, known as intermittent fasting.
Many cleanses and detoxification protocols can be beneficial but if I had to pick a specific cleanse or detoxification protocol that I would see most valuable to losing excess fat specifically is to do a Colon cleanse. As Dr. Schulze say’s “All disease begins in the Colon” and many other health experts, researchers, doctors and scientists will validate that the Colon needs to be healthy and clean in order for optimal fat lass in a timely manner.
The Colon (otherwise known as the large intestine) is compromised of 5 feet long tubes that are 3 inches in diameter. It is responsible for absorbing nutrients from the food we eat along with the liquids we drink. If the Colon is toxic and backed up (constipated to some degree) then your body will not be able to absorb nutrients properly.
The Colon is also responsible for producing bowel, otherwise known as fecal matter… ya know, crap! If your Colon is toxic and contains backed up fecal matter your body (and belly) will round out. If you take the appropriate steps to detoxify your colon as I share in this article your Colon will be able to remove excess waste (fecal matter) and absorb nutrients better.
If your Colon is backed up fecal matter literally sits in the Colon which then becomes poisonous to the body and blood. Not poisonous in a “you’ll die” kinda way but in a way that causes toxicity to build up in the body. I won’t go into too much detail but when you’re colon is backed up, you will have less bowel movements.
You should be having 2-3 bowel movements each day. When your Colon is healthy and working optimally you’ll have a bowel movement within less than an hour after each meal, that’s 2-3 bowel movements per day, depending on how many meals you eat. How many bowel movements do you have now? are your bowel movements after meals?
If you don’t have consistency in your bowel movements, you have less than 3 bowel movements per day or if you don’t have bowel movements after your meals then your Colon is backed up and most likely harboring toxic fecal matter that is causing you to gain even more fat and excess weight.

So if that sounds like you, less than 3 bowel movements a day, no bowel movement after meals or no consistency with bowel movements than I can guarantee that you have excess fecal matter sitting in your Colon causing you to have a rounded stomach, feel sluggish and fat. Thankfully with the right nutritional approach you can not only cleanse your colon but keep it healthy so that you have more regular bowel movements and lose that excess weight (5-20 pounds in most cases) and keep your Colon healthy so that you don’t gain it back.
Here are multiple ways to remove Colon Waste (up to 2o pounds) of it:
Ginger root helps to rid the Colon of excess waste and helps to cleanse the body in general. It stimulates the digestive system as well as improved circulation and induces the body to sweat more removing impurities. Ginger contains gingerol and shoga which are compounds that have anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic (anti-spasm) effects on the gastrointestinal tract. Ginger stimulates and soothes the Colon to remove excess waste and is used in many cultures around the world. You can buy organic ginger root and make a tea from it by cutting it up and adding to boiling water and letting it sit for 15 minutes or so.
Cayenne pepper is one of the main ingredients in the lemon/cayenne cleanse for a very good reason. Cayenne pepper increases circulation as well as reduces bloating and increases digestive function. It increases the flow of blood and has a heating effect (like ginger) which stimulates circulation and removal of excess toxins and waste from the Colon. It also helps artery and heart health. You can add cayenne pepper to food, or add it to water and drink it.
Aloe is a natural laxative that contains nutrients. This is very important because laxatives that do not contain nutrients essentially trick your organs into having a bowel movement but then your body can become dependent on laxatives. A natural nutrient based laxative such as aloe gives your body the nutrients needed to excrete excess waste without being dependent. Aloe is also soothing and cooling to the intestinal walls. It helps coat them to make things ‘slippery’ so that they move through faster and easier. This helps heal the lining of the intestine which is very important because if the lining has been damaged fecal matter and excess waste will leak into your blood stream. Healing the lining allows the waste (fecal matter) to slide out of your body as oppose to circulate around in your body. If you’ve ever used aloe on your skin topically or drank aloe you will know that it’s jelly-like in texture. It really helps the colon cleanse and coats the colon to remove waste more easily.
Fennel seed is a great source of fiber that helps to push and pull excess waste from the Colon. Fiber is needed crucially and can be viewed as a broom that sweeps the Colon waste out. Fennel also helps to reduce gas, improve breath and relieve lower abdominal pain. If you have inflammation in your lower abdomen this can be useful for relieving pain and improving digestion.
Ginger and cayenne pepper are hot and stimulate the Colon to have bowel movements more often. Aloe vera heals the wall of the Colon which allows that wall to be slippery like a slide (literally) as opposed to dry and tough. The stimulation of the hot spices and the aloe allow your Colon to create more frequent bowel movements. The fiber in the fennel seed pulls more fecal matter from your Colon which causes you to have larger bowel movements. Together, these plants stimulate more frequent, larger bowel movements.
Over time with continuous use you will begin to detoxify your Colon causing the excess 20 pounds of weight (mostly fecal matter) sitting in your Colon to be expelled through your body through bowel movements.
I highly recommend using these spices and plants more often to keep your Colon healthy and active and to remove excess fat and waste.
