Eating healthy can be challenging at times if it’s not a consistent habit engrained in your life already. The toughest part for most people attempting to switch to eat healthy is to get over the hurdle of eating something that doesn’t taste as delicious. That junk food, snack food, sugary food… all tastes so good. Vegetables may not seem as appealing.

Whether you’re doing your best to eat healthy for the first time or get back on track fruit is a good starting place. I have never met anyone in my life who does not like fruit, and fruit is an essential food group to eat in order to be healthy. If you’re having difficulty making healthier food decisions in your life just start by eating more fruit. It’s delicious and it will start to train your brain to crave healthy, organic whole foods.

You can grab fruit from the counter or fridge and be on your way too, so there’s no preparation time to eat more fruit like there may be for a salad, soup, or healthy home cooked meal.

Fruit is delicious by itself but when you start to pair fruit and to be creative with it you can create a delicious mix that will keep you coming back for more, and that’s not a bad thing this time! I recently discovered a delicious recipe that is packed with a ton of nutrition. We’re talking full of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients, enzymes and so much more!

This recipe is delicious, and perfect for the summer time! It’s cooling and refreshing after a hot summer day. You can make a big batch of it and store it in the fridge and your children will tear it up. It can last for a few days and be a great way to give your children along with yourself plenty of nutrition and health value after a long hot summer day. The weather is warming up fast and summer is approaching so here’s the recipe to try out now!

2 tsp organic lime zest
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice

1. Cut And Mix all fruit in a big bowl
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice and lime zest.
3. Pour Honey lime dressing over fruit and toss till the fruit is evenly covered.

You’ll want to store the leftovers in the fridge. It can last several days because the lime helps to preserve the fruit! The fruit salad is good until the fruit starts turning brown (oxidizing) then it’s time for a new batch, but hopefully you’ve finished that fruit salad by then!
