A few weeks ago I decided to make a chia pudding. It had been a while since i’ve made a chia pudding and I didn’t think about the flavor so much, so I just threw a few things together in a glass jar and let it sit in my fridge. To my astonishment, it turned out delicious and the longer that it sat in my fridge the more delicious it became. I just finished the rest of this chia pudding today (it’s been a hot one) and it was really refreshing and delicious. If you’re a fan of kiwi and banana then you’ll absolutely love this recipe.

It’s sweet, fruity and great in the summertime to stay hydrated and cool of. It’s healthy too, full of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, prebiotics, fiber, healthy fats, even protein. It’s going to help oxygenate your body, help your body stay hydrated and help your body utilize these nutrients effectively.

Kiwi, Banana, Chia Seeds and stevia are the 4 ingredients for this recipe, and each of them have their own individual health benefits.

You’re probably stoked to taste this delicious, organic drink, so i’ll be short on words and share with you how to make it.

What You’ll Need:

  1. 2 Organic Kiwi’s
  2. 1 Organic Banana
  3. Organic Chia Seeds (get here)
  4. Organic Liquid Stevia (get here)
  5. A Glass Jar (32 ounces is preferable, save an old juice container and clean it out)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut the kiwi skin off and cut the 2 kiwis into slices, place these slices in the jar.
Step 2: Peel the banana, cut it into slices, add it to the jar as well.
Step 3: Fill the jar 80% full of water with the fruit contained in it.
Step 4: Add 3-4 scoops of Chia seeds to the jar.
Step 5: Add 2-3 liquid droppers of Organic Stevia.
Step 6: Close the lid, shake a bit and let it store in the fridge for approximately 2 hours (or until chia seeds expand fully)

After the chia mix sits in the fridge for a few hours, the bottle should be full to the top as the chia seeds expand. If not, you can add more chia seeds and a little more water to make up the difference.

The chia pudding should have a thick texture and be filling, refreshing and hydrating all at the same time. Please note that the longer you leave this sit in the fridge the more the kiwi and banana taste will permeate the jar and spread out. You can take the jar out and shake it up and down a few times to help this move along faster. You can do this each day for a week for a few seconds a day while grabbing something else just to keep things moving and mixing. After a few days it will taste good, after 4 days or a week, it will taste great.

Make sure that because this is in a glass jar and can be drank that you still chew this food. Chia seeds, kiwi and banana still are food and even though it’s in more of a liquid form it will help your gut to chew it thoroughly and to allow it to digest more easily.
